Pumpkin Patch

Last night we went to the pumpkin patch in Santaquin.
It's the same one we went to last year.
Here's Jocelyn dressed in her Halloween best.

When we got there Jocelyn was so excited as we waited for the hayride

We started out a bit late in the evening and saw this awesome sunset!

The hayride was longer than I remembered and it was so cold!
Jocelyn didn't seem to care at all.
By the time we got out to the pumpkin patch
it was almost too dark to see anything.

We chose pumpkins as quicky as possible.
We had to feel them and take pictures of them to try to see what they looked like.
It was that dark.
On our way back to the red barn.

The treasures in this laundry basket are a few of hers.


What you can't see: her beloved blankie,
her dollar store dolly, my bracelets,
and some other goodies.
She gathered this all up just before bed time tonight.
We usually clean up together,
but she did it all by herself today...
I usually don't put it in a laundry basket.
Love her!

PRIVATE- Last Chance

Hey there all my blog readers! Hope all is well! Sorry bout the lack of bloggin... I have plans to get this going again. Summer is way too much fun to sit and blog (though that didn't stop me from stocking my usual favorite blogs).

Today

It was a perfect fall day.
I woke up to rain pouring outside.
I snuggled up to my Casey in our down comforter.
I plugged in my new pumpkin spice wallflower.
I wore a jacket and scarf.
I ate grilled cheese and creamy tomato soup.
I bought some halloween decorations.
I made yummy cookies.

I love you Fall!
