This little girl talks alot! While grocery shopping last week an older man came up and said, "she sure is a talker. She sounds like she's 6!" I love hearing the funny things that she says. When we are driving in the car we either listen to her music (Soul Sister, Boom Boom, B.O.B. airplanes, or sometimes actual kid music like Laurie Berkner), or we talk. She can seriously talk my ear off already.
The other day while driving in the car- Joce: "When we crash our car will break."
Me: "How do you know that?"
Joce: "Betause it's true."
We drove past some cows- Joce: "Lots of cows. What are they eating?"
Me: "Grass."
Joce: Laughs hard, then says, "Do chickens eat grass?"
Me: "No."
Joce: "What do they eat? Maybe hay?"
We drove past some sheep- Joce: "Can I ride the lambies?"
Me: "No."
Joce: "Maybe... after I get married I can ride them!?" Sounding so excited! :)
She talks a lot about baby brother.
I was in the other room and I heard- "Mom! Mom!"
Me: "What?"
Joce: "I need you! Where's the baby brother??"
Me: "In my tummy."
Joce: "Is he coming out today?"
Yesterday when I said it was time for lunch,
she said, "Can baby brother please eat with us? He's hungry too."
Jocelyn loves to tell me about her "dreams" lately. They usually go something like this:
"Once upon time some curly hair. Then the bugs came. It was scary. (mumble mumble some other things that make no sense). And that was my dream." This all started when I told her about a dream I had when someone cut her hair all off. As I was telling her my dream, she kept saying, "and what else?" I would tell her some more, then she would say, "and what else?" So I have started telling her little made up stories and she LOVES them. It doesn't even matter what I say, she thinks it's the best thing ever.
I love being a mommy! I'm so glad I have my little sidekick to keep me company all day.

Jocelyn's comments make me laugh. What a funny girl. That's so exciting that you don't have too much longer until your little boy is here!
I wish the girls could play. They'd be a riot! And your hair looks so voluptuous by the way. Congrats on the boy! Should be quite a change!
hahaha she says the craziest things, seriously like she's 6. even toddlers that talk a lot for their age don't talk like her.
i was just thinking the other day how i love having a sidekick too! i wouldn't have said that a year ago, but i love this age! they're so funny.
