Recommendations Please
I've been reading this blog for a while now A Year of CrockPotting. She has a goal to use her crockpot everyday for this year. She's done it so far. I think it's amazing and her food sounds so yummy! I love the idea of being able to throw everything in the crockpot and let it cook without worrying about it. Food always tastes so moist and delicious when made in a crockpot. I have a whole list of crockpot recipes to try. So why haven't I actually tried on of these recipes yet... I don't have a crockpot! I've been looking into getting one and have no idea what to get. Does it even matter which one? Anyone have one that they would recommend?

We got nine crockpots for our wedding. We kept the ugliest one and it seems to work great. Thanks for the website. We use our crockpot frequently and love it. I can give you a few of our favs. Remind me. Have we gotten the mother's group blog going?
Oh, and crock pot bags are the greatest invention ever. Never clean a crock pot again.
i suggest getting an oval shaped one. you can put more in them than a round one. standard size is 5 qt and its nice to get one where you can put a specific temperature instead of just high or low... hope that helps!! loves!
I would try to get one with multiple heat settings. I have a Rival and don't absolutely LOVE it because of that. The "Hot" is REALLY hot, and the "Warm" isn't quite warm enough.
I would check out consumer reviews online. They always help me with all my purchases. Good luck!
